Alpha movie tells the story of strength and survival set during the last Ice Age between 17,000 and 22,000 BC around 20,000 years ago. Keda (Kodi Smit-McPhee) is a young boy, who goes on hunting with his tribe Solutréen spread in Western Europe but he is left alone when a hunting trip goes wrong. He survives a horrible attack but his tribe thinks he is dead. Living alone in the wilderness under harsh conditions, Badly injured Keda is attacked by a group of wolf. He is able to escape from them but injures one of the wolf, whom he takes with him to take care. Days passes by, Keda and Wolf begins to form a strong relationship with each other. Enemies become allies and boy becomes warrior, together fighting for the survival. Both of them must rely on each other to overcome countless dangers. Harsh winters are approaching, Keda and Wolf must reach home before that.
