After the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey (Daisy Ridley) has already taken her biggest step and now she embarks on a new jouney with Finn (John Boyega), Poe, and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) after destroying the Starkiller base of the first order. BB-8 and R2-D2 on the other hand are able to merge the lost pieces of the map that leads them to Luke Skywalker. During the jouney Rey meets the legendary Jedi Knight who fought against the dark forces along with Han Solo and Princess Leia. On the other hand, new opponents appears on the scene, who wants to destroy the goods in the galaxy.
Star Wars The Last Jedi is the eighth installment of famous Skywalker saga that first started in 1977. It serves as the middle movie in the tri movie series and will be released on the 40th anniversary of Star wars movie series. This is Carrie Fisher’s last star war movie as she died in December 2016. It is one of the longest running star war movie with duration of 150 minutes.
Sequence of the movie is filmed with IMAX cameras and this is second star war movie to do so. It is rumorued that Tom Hardy, will play the cameo as a storm trooper. He was also seen in Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). Star Wars The Last Jedi was set to release on May 26, 2017 but its date shifted to December 2017 due to anniversary issues.
Recent clip from the movie, showed Luke Skywalke back on Millennium Falcon. He felt surprised when he enters his old home. He will not be staying for long as we have Rey in the prime scene now.
