Based on a true story, Megan Leavey (Kate Mara) is a young girl who joins the US armed forces to get away from her daily life.She is posted as Corporal in Iraq.Given a job to train the most violent dog named Rex.She manages to build a bond with Rex.Megan has a unique personality with full discipline.She along with her combat dog worked on more than 100 successful missions until she and Rex are hit by an IED explosion.Megan survives the attack with few injuries.Back to life at her home,She misses Rex very much as Rex has saved Megan life in the combat field many times.Few months later,she comes to know Rex is still alive and she tries every possible way to bring the dog back to her house by adopting him.
