Former history teacher Paul Lohman (Steve Coogan) is trying to convince his wife Claire (Laura Linney) to cancel an dinner program with his brother Stan (Richard Gere) and his wife Katelyn (Rebecca Hall).But he is not able to convince her. Stan is a candidate for the Governor’s Office and has invited them to a super exclusive restaurant.The evening comes when all gather for a dinner on a single table.Both the couples have different issues going on in their life.Katelyn is upset with the decision of her husband of not having children with her.Stan is very much worried about his political campaign.Paul is trying to solve problems with his son Michael (Charlie Plummer), who is just sixteen year old.Paul took the Michael’s cell phone by mistake to the dinner.Soon Michael’s phone rings and Paul receives it, it is her mom and tells her son to keep the things secret from his dad.Couples comes to know about the crime commited by Michael and hos friends that will shake the Stan’s political career.
