Set in Poland,just after the World War 2, Alma Mereminski (Gemma Arterton) has few admirers but one of them named Leo Gursky (Mark Rendall) is able to get her feelings to his book called “The History of Love”. After the German invasion, Jewish Alma is sent to America for security reasons.
