Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is a street basketball coach, who has lost all his savings while playing against his number one rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to defeat his rival in Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, he can go to any limit. One day, Dax stumbles upon a legendary player UNCLE DREW (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and Dax tries to convince him to play for him in his team. UNCLE DREW finally gets convinced but want his other old team mates too, so both of them embark on a road trip to gather their finest basketball team including Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie.
